MicroConvergent will conduct an audit of your infrastructure to analyze the performance of your devices and their network connectivity. An audit is always done before recommending a managed service plan and any technology services, to provide a baseline of performance and inventory.
We employ network tools that empirically measure critical metrics of your network reliability. We then work with you to develop an action plan tailored to your needs. Depending on your requirements, and the complexity of your infrastructure, we provide three types of audits to analyze the performance of your devices and their network connectivity.
Full Audit: This comprehensive audit assesses the activity, reliability and compliance of your servers, PCs, software, firewalls, network controls, storage devices and other IP-addressable connections. Your assets—hardware and software—are inventoried, and compliance and warranty status is assessed. The audit lasts for a week to a month, depending on the complexity of your infrastructure. We prepare a detailed report on every monitored component you wish to have managed.
System Health Check: This audit performs basic reliability checks to provide a quick snapshot of your network. We also prepare a full device report, similar to the full audit, but without trend analysis. The Health Check provides a performance baseline that enables our monitoring managed service plan to be put in place. It will also evaluate the quality of your firewall. Adding the compliance module of our Full Audit will permit us to monitor your software compliance as well.
Custom Audit: If you are interested in a specific service, such as data back-up, we will conduct an abbreviated audit that assesses that particular area. However, a Full Audit is the best and most cost-effective way to evaluate your entire network’s reliability and security, allowing you to make fully informed decisions.
