MicroConvergent

How
MicroConvergent
Managed Systems
Work

MicroConvergent starts with an audit of your current technology and network infrastructure to analyze the performance of your existing devices and their network connectivity. The audit provides a baseline level of performance and helps to establish performance and capacity thresholds.

Once you select a plan level, an Agent is installed on each of the devices (such as PCs) to be monitored. Installation takes about 5 minutes for each device on your network and can be done remotely (auto-discovery) or on-site. Managed services, including installation, can be turned on almost immediately.

Once installation is complete, we remotely and transparently monitor your IT infrastructure, networks, IP-based telephony and TDM telephone systems using advanced automation-enabled tools. Our monitoring is not intrusive. We are monitoring the health of your system. We have no access to the content of your data files.

Proactive monitoring of critical metrics to defined norms and thresholds is continuous. When a monitored service or application is flagged as being outside of an expected norm, the issue causing the alarm can be remotely remediated and repaired, thereby preventing a general system failure. A nationwide network of IT support professionals provides rapid, on-site assistance for any issues that cannot be resolved remotely.

Under a Managed Service Plan, you can access numerous reports and analyses on an on-going basis. Additionally, MicroConvergent conducts quarterly on-site reviews to assess performance and recommend any needed enhancements to your system.
